The researcher at the UNESCO Chair in Life Cycle and Climate Change, Ilija Sazdovski, writes about the last paper developed by the Chair. The article shows that including the variable of time in the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology is of the utmost importance for improving the accuracy of the traditional LCA model.

UNESCO Chair in Life Cycle and Climate Change ESCI-UPF and the University of Girona have conducted joint research in nanotechnology and the circular economy in the paper sector. Now, the results of the study have been published as a scientific paper in the prestigious Journal of Cleaner Production.

Jaume Albertí, Alba Bala, Laura Batlle, Pere Fullana from the UNESCO Chair in Life Cycle and Climate Change, and Joan Ribas, professor at ESCI-UPF, have also contributed to the article as co-authors.
